You can take advantage of all the possible angles and clamping to make cutting complex items easier. If you place the cutting area off the table you can use the table edge as a reference and make accurate angled cuts. The tables holes are square to the table edges. Making cuts on the table is possible using hand tools (porta-band, circular saw with cut-off wheel, cold saw, etc.), by placing less than 3" parallels under the work piece to gain clearance for the cutter. |
